The Home Duo is home renovation blog run by two New Zealand athletes turned DIY’ers, Sophie and Jamie Prebble. The couple started documenting their own home renovation and shortly realised the potential for turning it into full blog, website and instagram page. Sophie wanted a logo that looked stylish, modern and professional. I recommended having a style guide document for her brand identity that she could use to keep the brand looking good as the blog grew.
We discussed who her key demographics were and how I could design a look that best captured and held their attention. The resulting brand identity and style guide focused on light colours, modern typefaces and white space to best highlight the great photography of their newly renovated home.
